Do you have a minimum number of services required to book?
For standard on-location weddings, I do have a minimum of $430 in day of makeup service costs, not including the trial, travel, or any other additional fees. This minimum can be met with the bride's makeup service and 2 additional adult makeup services.
With that said, I am happy to service just the bride in my beautiful home studio located near Millersville, PA, no minimum required.

What is included in your rates?
I understand how stressful planning a wedding can be. I also realize the stress involved with finding an artist who makes you feel both beautiful AND looking like you. Look no further! I've not only planned my own wedding in 2018, but I've also served hundreds of brides in the past four years. I assure you I am committed to providing an experience that is smooth-sailing from start to finish. I invest thousands each year in quality, high-performing products as well as ongoing education, in order to ensure that every woman who sits in my chair receives only the best. Why does the bride cost more than the bridesmaids?
This is a valid question. If you think of it in terms of just providing the makeup service on the day of the wedding I can understand why you may be surprised at the difference in cost.
However, I assure you there is much more that goes into the bride's services than just the day-of application. The costs of time spent communicating, planning, invoicing, and contracting are also incorporated into the bride's cost. The bride will also have access to personalized skincare guidance from me through to her wedding day, and access to my Skincare Guide and discount codes. Additionally, I spend several hours prepping and cleaning my kit before each wedding, driving to the location and back, as well as post-wedding cleaning in order to ensure a safe, sanitary application for every one of my bridal clients.
As a gift from me, every bride will receive complementary lashes and a deluxe touchup kit included in her service. Add on the value of my experience, quality of products, and commitment to ongoing education, and you'll notice how these little details all add up.

How much does travel cost?
For your convenience, I am happy to travel on-location for all my full-service weddings, providing my minimum is met. Travel is calculated at $1/mile one direction, calculated from my home studio address near Millersville, PA. This cost accounts for gas as well as the wear and tear on my vehicle.

How far do you travel?
I am willing to travel wherever this business may take me, even outside the US! I have minimums for travel beyond my immediate service area, and additional travel costs and accommodations will apply. One of my favorite perks about this industry is getting to see the amazing venues that exist!

When should I book makeup services?
As soon as you nail down your date and venue, delay no further. Most wedding vendors book their dates between 6-12 months in advance, and some even 18 months. Beauty services are no exception. If you desire to book your favorite vendors, procrastination will not serve you. Remember, we are going for a stress-free experience, and having a good experience with your makeup artist is a process that takes months. I work with you to create a perfect timeline for your getting ready process, and to guide you in settling on a routine that gets your skin in the best possible condition. This may mean a new skincare routine, waxing to properly shape your eyebrows, facials to rehydrate or resurface the skin, derma planing, etc.
If your wedding is less than 6 months away, don't fret just yet. Please fill out the inquiry form to request availability.

What is your process for booking?
Step 1) After we have established that we are a good fit, the next step is signing your contract and submitting a non-refundable retainer of 50% of your day of makeup services. Once both are received, your date is secured with me and we move to the next step.
Step 2) Sharing inspiration photos of your makeup vision and wedding details so I can create a look that feels genuine to you.
Step 3) We will schedule your trial run about 6-12 weeks before your wedding day, occasionally further out.
Step 4) Trial run! The week of, I will reach out to you to remind you of your trial, and to remind you how to best come prepared for a smooth trial. Trials are held at my home studio near Millersville, PA and last anywhere from 1-2 hours max, giving us enough time for one look with minor tweaks (lip color, added shimmer on eyes, various lash styles, etc.) Any time beyond this will be billed at $50/half hour. Additional trials may be scheduled at cost.
Step 5) I'll touch base about 2-4 weeks out to review your timeline with you, and make sure we are on the same page before the wedding day fun begins!
Step 6) It's your wedding day! Pop a bottle, turn on the tunes, and let the pampering begin! Enjoy feeling beautiful from your first kiss as a married couple till your grand exit.

Do you offer airbrush as well as traditional foundation?
Yes, I offer airbrush at no additional cost. Airbrush can be a wonderful option as it lays very lightly on the skin and is formulated to last the entirety of the day while giving a blurring effect on camera. It is also sweat resistant, transfer resistant, and humidity resistant. Airbrush may be the option for you, but this may be something to discuss at your trial, as in my professional opinion it may not always be the best option. Also, there are so many amazing traditional foundation formulas out there, that airbrush does not necessarily mean it's "better than" all other foundations.

How many people can you do makeup for on the wedding day?
I can accommodate wedding parties of all sizes with the help of an assisting artist or artists. For wedding services less than 7 services, I will be the only artist on site doing makeup, providing the timeline allows. With that said, for tight getting ready schedules, an assisting artist(s) may be necessary. Example: your venue only allows you to arrive at 10am, you have 6 ladies needing makeup services, your photographer needs you all ready by 1pm, and it will take 5 hours to get everyone ready. In this case, an assisting artist would be necessary in order to assure everyone is ready on time and your day runs as smoothly as possible for everyone involved.
The additional artists I choose to come with me are skilled artists in their own right, and their quality of work and professionalism meet my standards.

How long does it take per makeup service?
I have found the sweet spot from start to finish, with enough time for sanitizing and resetting for the next person, is about 60 minutes, give or take 15 minutes. Some skin types may need a little more love, and some makeup looks may take a bit more time depending on the look desired. I assure you I take pride in making sure the entire wedding party looks and feels beautiful, and I have high standards for my work. Therefore, I aim to be completely transparent and realistic with the amount of time needed per person, so we are not rushing through or running late. My goal is for everyone to feel like they are getting quality time and care when seated in my chair, and that you all are relaxed as possible. Moreover, I always allot about 3-5 minutes per person for touchups at the end before I pack up and say my goodbyes.

Do you offer touchup services?
While every bride will receive a deluxe touchup kit, which includes a full-sized lipstick or gloss, and other essential items necessary for touchups throughout the day. I also offer touchup services beyond the contracted time. This means you will have me there to make sure your makeup stays the freshest it can be for your photos.
Touchup services are $50 per hour. If you'd like to add this service, there is a minimum requirement of 1 hour. You can find my full pricing list on the Investment page here.

Do you offer any touch up items?
Absolutely! The bride always receives a deluxe touchup kit as a complementary gift from me! This includes but is not limited to the following items: double ended Q-tips and mascara wands, oil blotting sheets, lash glue, makeup sponge, a full-sized lipstick or gloss, and of course, tic tacs to refresh the palette for those post dinner kisses.
Adult bridal party members will also receive mints and a mini lipstick/gloss touchup as part of their service.

Can I have a trial before committing to book?
You may; however, I cannot reserve your date for you until a contract is signed and a retainer is received. With that said, if another bride inquires about your date and decides to book (submits contract and retainer payment), then she will have that wedding date reserved for her.

If you like what you see on my website and social media, chances are we will be able to create the look you desire, as long as our aesthetics are similar. I assure you, I work closely with my brides to achieve a look they are 100% in love with. Most often this requires just one trial, but every so often a second trial may be the best option, especially for those who have a very specific makeup vision. Clear communication and trust are key factors in ensuring your complete satisfaction.

Do I have to have a trial?
Yes. Only under very specific circumstances will I allow a bride to forego a trial. This is not only a crucial step for you, the bride-to-be, but it is also a crucial step for me. It is our chance to get to know each other so we aren't just meeting as strangers on the day of your wedding. It also allows me to get.a feel for your skin type and potential areas of concern, in which case I can give you my recommendations for a regimen that will help your skin get in the best possible shape for your big day, as a flawless makeup application begins with a smooth canvas.
Additionally, a trial allows you the opportunity to get a feel for how the makeup will look and feel on you throughout the day. By wearing the makeup for a day, you have the chance to decide whether you want to keep everything as is, or whether you want us to make any changes to your look on your wedding day. For these reasons, I do require a trial for my brides.

How long do trials last?
I allot up to 2 hours max for trials. This includes enough time for us to review the details of the wedding day, have a thorough skin consultation, discuss your desires for your makeup look, review photos, and complete your makeup application. You can expect for us to try one main makeup look with minor tweaks (such as trying a few different lip colors, changing from matte to shimmer, adding more dimension, etc.) I recommend coming with a specific vision and photo(s) for inspiration.
Two hours allows us ample time to have a thorough, relaxed, and personalized trial. Any time beyond this will be billed at $50/half hour.

How much does a trial cost?
Trials are $125 for the bride as well as any other bridal party members. I take the same amount of time and care with every client.
During your trial, I take my time to make sure I understand your skin type, comprehend your wedding vibe and vision for your makeup, and finally-- to ensure that you leave with a makeup look you LOVE.
If you change your mind on the look you'd like for your wedding day and/or you'd like to have another trial for any reason, you may schedule a second trial with me at cost. It doesn't happen frequently where a second trial is necessary; however, it does happen and is completely okay if we need a second trial to ensure your full confidence and comfortability in your final look.

When and where does the trial take place?
Trials most often take place between 2-4 months prior to your wedding day. They are held in my elegant and comfortable home studio located off Millersville Road (near Columbia Avenue) in Lancaster, PA. They take place between 10am and 3pm Tuesdays and Thursdays as weekends are reserved for weddings and special occasions. If you are unable to have a trial during one of these days or times, we can discuss other options.

How do I book my trial?
